In the wrongful death case of Donato v. Swift Transportation Co., an Arizona Corporation, et. al., Superior Court of the State of Arizona, County of Maricopa, CV2000-022665, the jury returned an award of $7,000,000 compensatory damages and $4,000,000 in punitive damages for a total of $11,000,000 for our client, the Donatos.
In the family law case of Flower v. Flower, 223 Ariz. 531, 225 P.3rd 588 (2010) the Court of Appeals affirmed our client, Norman Flower's trial ruling. In this case, the Court addressed whether the family court abused its discretion in ordering a substantially unequal distribution of marital assets and debts under the equitable principles explained in Toth v. Toth, 190 Ariz. 218, 946 P.2d 900 (1997). The appellate court found the trial court's application of Toth to be correct. Our client prevailed.
